We are now taking bookings for all junior courses & activities during the 2013 School Holidays

Spring Half Term - Monday 27th - Friday 31st May.

Summer Holidays - Monday 8th - Friday 12 July, Monday 15th - Friday 19th July, Monday 22nd - Friday 26th July, Monday 29th July - Friday 2nd August, Monday 5th - Friday 9th August, Monday 12th - Friday 16th August, Monday 19th - Friday 23rd August, Monday 26th - Friday 30th August.


Junior Sailing Courses

Stage 1. This is a 2 day course.

These courses are R.Y.A. recognised, certificated courses. At the end of the course participants can attain Junior Stage 1. Weather conditions can influence participants achievement but given reasonable conditions complete beginners usually attain stage 1 during the course. Cost £88 per person.

Stage 2. This is a 3 day course.

These courses are R.Y.A. recognised, certificated courses. Participants must have attained Stage 1 before attempting this course. At the end of the course participants can attain Junior Stage 2. Weather conditions can influence participants achievement but given reasonable conditions participants usually attain stage 2 during the course. Cost £132 per person.

Stages 1 and 2 combined. This is a 5 day course.

These courses are R.Y.A. recognised, certificated courses. At the end of the course participants can attain Junior Stage 1 and 2, or Adult Level 1 or 2 depending on previous experience. Weather conditions can influence participants achievement but given reasonable conditions complete beginners usually attain both stages during the course. Cost £195 per person.

Stage 3. This is a 3 day course.

Again this is a R.Y.A. recognised certificated course. Participants must have attained Stages 1 & 2 before attempting this course. Cost £132 per person.

 

Junior Windsurfing Courses

Stage 1. This is a 2 day course.

These courses are R.Y.A. recognised, certificated courses. At the end of the course participants can attain Junior Stage 1. Weather conditions can influence participants achievement but given reasonable conditions complete beginners usually attain stage 1 during the course. Cost £88 per person.

Stage 2. This is a 3 day course.

These courses are R.Y.A. recognised, certificated courses. Participants must have attained Stage 1 before attempting this course. At the end of the course participants can attain Junior Stage 2. Weather conditions can influence participants achievement but given reasonable conditions participants usually attain stage 2 during the course. Cost £132 per person.

Junior Stages 1 & 2 combined. This is a 5 day course.

Universally accepted as the best way to learn to windsurf, these courses are R.Y.A. recognised certificated courses and are of five days duration. At the end of the course participants can attain Junior Stages 1 or 2. Weather conditions can influence participants achievement but given reasonable conditions complete beginners usually attain both stages during the course. Cost £195 per person.

Junior Stage 3. This is a 3 day course.

Again this is a R.Y.A. recognised certificated course. Participants must have attained Stages 1 & 2 before attempting this course. It is also necessary to gain some experiece between courses. Cost £132 per person.

 

Junior Multi-Activity Courses

Normally attended by those youngsters wanting the opportunity to experience a selection of activities such as sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and Rafting. Depending on weather conditions other activities are sometimes available. None of the activities are compulsory. Cost is £44 per person per day or £195 per person per week (i.e. 5 days Mon - Fri. inclusive.)

General Information

Minimum age 8 yrs.

All instruction is carried out by qualified instructors. A safety boat is always standing by during all on-water activities. All participants are provided with buoyancy aid and helmet which must be worn. When wetsuits are required they will be supplied if necessary.

All participants should bring a swimming costume, towell, complete change of clothing, sun cream and must bring and wear footwear that they do not mind getting wet, a pair of sailing shoes or boots is ideal but a pair of old trainers will do.

We have a tuck shop selling hot & cold drinks, snacks & ice cream etc. but it is recommended that children bring a packed lunch.

Each day the activities start at 10am and finish at 4:00 pm so we suggest arriving between 9.30 - 9.45 am. in the morning and collecting after 4.15 pm.

Prices

The cost for each participant is £44.00 per day unless otherwise stated.

When booking for a weeks activities (i.e. 5 consecutive days, Monday to Friday) the rate is £195.00 per person. ( equivalent to a discount of £25.00 per person )

A further discount is available when booking for six participants, you only pay for five. Only applicable when booked and paid as a single group (i.e. one person makes the booking, collects the non-refundable deposits and settles the bill as one transaction).

A non-refundable deposit of £10 per person per day is required at the time of booking.

Final payment is due 14 days prior to the start of the course, after which there will be no refund for non-attendance.

Payment can be made by cash or cheque, Credit / Debit Cards are not accepted.

Course fees do not include RYA handbooks, logbooks or certificates.
