DIRECTIONS TO LLANDEGFEDD RESERVOIR

From Cardiff:-
Leave M4 Motorway at junction 26.
Join A4051 dual carriageway and follow towards Abergavenny & Pontypool through four sets of traffic lights. At first roundabout, third exit, join the A4042 dual carriageway in the direction of Abergavenny & Pontypool ( also sign-posted County Hall & Police Headquarters) and follow through a further four roundabouts, at the fifth roundabout leave the A4042 dual carriageway, third exit, in the direction of NEW INN.
PS (If you reach the roundabout where there is a ‘McDonalds Drive Through’ you have gone one roundabout to far)

From Bristol:-
Leave M4 Motorway at junction 25A.
At first roundabout join the A4042 dual carriageway in the direction of Abergavenny & Cwmbran and follow through a further four roundabouts, at the fifth roundabout leave the A4042 dual carriageway, third exit, in the direction of NEW INN.

From Abergavenny:-
Follow the A4042 towards Pontypool & Newport. After joining the dual carriageway follow the A4042 towards Newport through three roundabouts, at the fourth roundabout ( the roundabout after ‘McDonalds Drive Through’ leave dual carriageway, first exit, towards NEW INN.

From Usk:-
Leave Usk, over river bridge, turn right onto A472 towards Pontypool. At Little Mill join the A4042 dual carriageway and follow the A4042 towards Newport through three roundabouts, at the fourth roundabout ( the roundabout after ‘McDonalds Drive Through’ leave dual carriageway, first exit, towards NEW INN.

Local Directions:-
After 400 yards pass Lower New Inn Pub on left, continue for another 200 yds where there is a sharp left hand bend; halfway round the bend turn right to join Jerusalem Lane; after approx. 250 yards turn right onto Sluvad Road. Follow this road for about 1 mile before catching sight of the reservoir on left hand side, follow road over the Dam Wall, at end of wall turn sharp left, after 50 yards entrance gates on left hand side. Immediately after entering gates report to rangers office on right then follow site road to one of the site car parks and park vehicle. Gwent Adventures office is a green metal security cabin with picnic tables outside and is situated near the waters edge.
