W4CR Charity Fundraising Event

It is hoped that the this years W4CR charity fundraising event to be held on 1st May 2011 will be even more successful than last year. Please pledge your support for this fantastic charity.

Last years event was hosted by Gwent Adventures at Llandegfedd Reservoir, Wales' Premier Inland Windsurfing venue, on the 2nd May 2010.

Many thanks to all the sponsors of this event at Llandegfedd. Your efforts have been rewarded by being awarded Silver Status, one of just 5 venues across the U.K.

Silver status is awarded to venues that have raised £1000 or more and has 20 participants registered to take part

The last windsurfer to leave the water was Dave Robinson, he had just completed 'Crossing the Channel' ( 22 miles), a fantastic and exhausting challenge was complete. He has raised well over £1000 for W4CR and there's more to come.

Congratulations Dave, and many thanks to your family that stayed all day encouraging you to complete the challenge.
