Gwent Adventures Sailing & Windsurfing School is now open for the season.

Llandegfedd Reservoiris now open for sailing, windsurfing and canoeing for the 2008 season and should remain open until 31st October.


Great News

Planning permission has been granted for a new building to contain all the requirements of water users at the reservoir. Check out the latest news at www.llandegfeddwatersports.org


Season Permits

Those wishing to purchase a season ticket for the 2008 season can apply for an application form by contacting Welsh Water rangers office (Tel: 01291 673722 or 01495 755122). During the season day visitors can purchase 'day permits' at the entrance gate.

Evening Dinghy Sailing Course

The combined Level 1 & 2 Dinghy Sailing course proved to be very successful. Due to it's success the course is available again this season and will run one evening a week over a nine week period starting in June (subject to enough places being booked). This course will be particularly useful for those who cannot commit themselves to the weekend courses.

Birthdays & Special Events

Throughout the season, Birthday & Special Event parties are available. These occasions normally consist of a morning or afternoon session of 2½ hours duration. The activities available are sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and raft building.

Only one activity can take place during a single session, i.e. morning 10.00 am to 12.30 pm or afternoon 1.30 pm to 4.00 pm.The cost of a canoeing or raft building session is £120 for up to 8 participants.The cost of a sailing or windsurfing session is £120 for up to 6 participants, additional participants are charged on a pro rata basis.

It is hoped that T15 will resume during the 2008 season.
